I know these are his feet but I just love his new shoes!
He is OBSESSED with coloring lately. I still think he is going to be left handed.
This is what he drew <3

September 3, 2013

James and I had a really amazing mommy son day. We spent most of the day alone just playing in his room. It really was amazing. Days like these are the ones I cherish.

James is getting really good at using a fork. He is so proud of himself every time he uses one. Sometimes he has to use his other hand to put things on the fork, but he's getting there!

September 1, 2013

We were having a family get together for Labor Day. James loves taking everyone's phones and talking on them. He always holds his phone somewhat behind his back to "talk" on it though.
James eating his favorite fruits. Blueberries and watermelon.
All in all we had a pretty good family oriented day yesterday (:
I know this one isn't just of his hands but its too cute not to share!

James looking out the window today waiting on his grandpa to get home from the store. I just absolutely adore how much James is obsessed with my dad. Makes my heart feel really good. These have all been phone pictures lately, I promise to take an awesome camera shot soon!

August 29, 2013

The below pictures were taken with my cell phone, so not how I usually do it. I just didn't have time to use my camera yesterday.
James and I took our dog Lucy for a walk yesterday before leaving to pick up his cousins from school.
This is James playing at my parents house. He just loves using the wii remote and thinking he is playing. And yes he only has one shoe on, toddler problems.
And finally this is James playing with one of his favorite toys at grandma and grandpas house. His stroller. In reality he loves anything he can push around, like the lawn mower at our house. But I hope this leads to being an amazing dad some day. (Oh and this was the hardest picture to take because he would not stand still!)

August 28, 2013

To be fair this first picture is from last night.
James and I were laying on the couch when all of a sudden we realized he fell asleep on my chest. Made my heart melt.
One of James favorite things to do is type on my laptop. I always have to hide it or put it some place he can't get it. Well this morning I forgot and left it laying on the couch. The bottom is the result.

James has molars coming in. It has been what feels like hell around here. I can't wait until all 4 of his molars poke through so he isn't so cranky anymore! Right now we are just at one molar showing through a little, it still has a long way to go. In this picture he is playing with his Nuby Chewbies teething toy, which has helped with his teething pain.

August 27, 2013

So Dennis and I had my parents over tonight, these pictures are all from then :)
The above photo is of James reaching up to try and steal some carrot cake! Too bad we made sure he couldn't get it(right after I snapped this picture of course)
We wanted James to feel like he had a dessert as well so my parents got him oreo goldfish. He loved them(of course we still had to give him a few bites of cake).

Exactly what does this mean?

A lot of things pass through James' toddler hands on a daily basis.
It's funny because I had been thinking lately you could really tell a story on just what you see in his hands alone. Honestly this is true.
James is ever changing.
He is growing.
He is smart, cute and funny.
What passes through his hands will change with time too.
With each picture there will be a little description.
Maybe a few sentences or maybe a paragraph, of what exactly those hands were doing.
This is a never ending journey of my sons life.
